Removing weekends while plotting the graph

As you people might have seen, for the finance graphs saturday,sunday and some 
public holidays it won't show the y axis labels as there won't be any data but 
in the Flot it is considering those with no data. Eg: for one week(7 days) we 
have the data only for 5 days as sat and sun are the market closing dates it 
should not be taken sat and sun as x axis labels.but in FLOT is caculated the 
ticks automatically and displayed no values at sat and sun.bcz of that you can 
find large gap between lines(if it is a bar graph).
