Maybe something as simple as a Remember me button next to the Connect button would suffice. Just so that if something happens and the user has to close the app/window, it gives them a solid starting point when they open up a new window.
Maybe it would also be wise to add a Reset button next to the connect button as well, that way the user has a quick way to reset all the fields if they opened a new window with the intention of starting a different session.
