Tweaks to improve English language, primarily in the user facing parts of the OS.

Merged via SVN 10047 (git: db1cb66d3523d218a8c3ff7b9412841d83da0d92) changes to Backy and Beat programs, to regenerate the screenshots.

@dunkaist ... only this doesn't trigger these C programs to get rebuilt by the auto build...?

@ace-dent, Backy doesn't have any autobuild script. Its binaries are committed together with its source files. So, you have two options: to write a build script (Tupfile.lua) or to compile and update the binary.
