Please consider MeloTTS #46

It's heartbreaking that Coqui has shut down, and I've been looking for alternative projects. I'm not sure if https://github.com/myshell-ai/MeloTTS has potential, but I've heard that the project has high quality. Could you please take a look when you have time?

Thank you for mentioning this one, wasn't aware of it. I tried the demo, but tbh the quality is rather disappointing. There is basically zero emotion in the voice. Also six languages may be a bit few (I'm german, I'd love to have support for my native language).

Sure, I just tried the demo and it seems to be a very early version. Apart from the faster speed of synthesized speech, there don't seem to be any other advantages. Thank you for your response, and also for all your hard work.
