When adding or editing a calendar the option for "Show events that are ongoing" does not save.
To duplicate add/edit a calendar and check "Show events that are ongoing", save the calendar, then go back in and edit the calendar and you'll see that the option is deselected.
After you make the change the sensors in Home Assistant will have the ongoing events until HA is restarted at which point it reverts to the unselected value and the ongoing events are not reflected in the sensors.
