At some point during the development of Kompakkt the decision was made to use ngx-translate as a package to add internationalization to Kompakkt.

This was, however, never well integrated into the Kompakkt Repository.
If the decision to fully integrate internationalization to Kompakkt is ever made, I would also recommend using the official i18n resources from the Angular Team, for better maintenance.
