Pairing without the official GoPro app #112

Hey, this is a great effort which I applaud! Thanks to all the contributors. Maybe I missed something, or maybe this is covered in a different repository (perhaps the HeroProApp one), but I am trying to find out how I can make GoPro setup its wi-fi without using the official GoPro app.

This guide descibes a pairing process where the wi-fi name and password is set in the official app.

Is it possible to do this without the GoPro app? Once I set up the wi-fi, all the hacks collected in here can be tried by connecting to the GoPro wi-fi, but I am struggling with that first step. I am using a GoPro Hero+ without the LCD.
