Problem

Can I suggest you to rename your plugin to something that will make people want to use it more frequently? There used to be a plugin called https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/Layer_arranger/ which does precisely what your plugin does.

This plugin hasn't been ported to QGIS3, Can you take a look there and see if the functionality is the same or almost aligned. I can organize you to communicate with the author to see if you can collaborate or you can take ownership of the plugin

Dear Mr Mazano Thanks for your suggestion and for your offer to put me in contact with the author. I wasn't aware of the Layer Arranger plugin as it is not available in the plugin manager list. However, considering there are other cases of plugins doing similar things, this will not be a big issue. Honestly, I think changing the name now would create confusion, considering that several people already using it and I am also receiving requests for some integrations.
