[PSA] New ComfyUI update requires newest Advanced-ControlNet version ('ControlNet' object has no attribute 'device') #191

Open Kosinkadink opened 1 month ago

Kosinkadink commented 1 month ago

As of the linked ComfyUI commit on Oct 23rd, Advanced-ControlNet is required to be updated to latest version: https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/commit/754597c8a92f0d074dea8a0a74b2d34c3aae29b9

The changes to make it work with ComfyUI are not backwards compatible, so if you can't update ComfyUI after getting the newest Advanced-ControlNet, you'd need to downgrade your Advanced-ControlNet to https://github.com/Kosinkadink/ComfyUI-Advanced-ControlNet/commit/74d0c56ab3ba69663281390cc1b2072107939f96

How can I fix this problem? i updated all to lastest version image image

Kosinkadink commented 1 month ago

Post the full error stack. That's what the "show report" button is for

Kosinkadink commented 1 month ago

From the error you get though, you dont actually have the newest Advanced-ControlNet version. Update and your error will go away.

Has it been resolved? I updated to the latest version but still encountered an error, just like the screenshot above

Kosinkadink commented 1 week ago

@janeleviv it's been resolved weeks ago (have why this PSA exists), but if you post your full error stack here I can confirm for you if you just need to update, or if you've found an edge case I need to fix.
