I am not exactly sure what you mean. I can't find a mod called "competitive respawn". Are you saying that this mod should disallow respawning during certain events that the player can set?
I would also like to add that in order to make mod "more balanced", I introduced Death Curse mechanic that ideally should make reviving risky and consequential enough that it will not be easier nor harder than vanilla game. But I guess we can add something like "Don't spawn Death Totem on teleporter events" if that is what MiniaczQ meant.

Sorry, I should have looked for the mod's name. By competitive I meant that it's the other mod that's used by the community.

Precisely. Few of them should be enough, like teleporter
and boss
(Mithrix, Voidling and the special Scavengers).
I'm guessing the most difficult part would be smoothly turning the revives on and off, so the amount of events shouldn't be that important.

The problem I see with death curse is that it also punishes the reviver, which is not ideal for public lobbies, where people would rather not disadvantage themselves over other. Wasting health is fine since regeneration is one of the game's core mechanics.
A simple fix would be to have reviver curse configurable (which I did not see as of now, I'm sorry if I missed it), but I partially wanted to suggest something new.
A big part of the competitive respawn mod is that you can configure which events disable respawn mechanics. I think it'd be worth incorporating into this mod as well, it would make for a more balanced experience.
