Thank you for your great work! What I'd like to do is to be able to read from a 
sequence of images that doesn't begins with number 1. For example, to read from 
0000600.dpx to 0000750.dpx. The option already exists in ffmpeg.

why has this been flagged as invalid? I would be interested to know why such a 
useful feature is not supported
