Easy solution for custom moving the favourites

The staff said that the option for custom arranging the favourites is pretty difficult for the developer to make, which is completely understandable. But I think there is a limited but simpler solution to this issue that can be implemented; atleast until the custom arranging isn't available.

So, consider i have a category where i have some titles. They are sorted by the "oldest" option. If i want to move a specific title to the bottom, I can go to it, remove it from that category and add it again, it moves that title to the bottom.

So I think this method can be used to make a new sorting order, say "custom". In which I select a tithe and have the option at the top menu bar to move any title to the "bottom" or the "top". This might be useful for arranging them customly to some extend. And if it is easy to reproduce, I think it would be worth it.
