Chapter Not Updating

Brief summary

I have more than hundred favorited manga and when i tried to update it on feed tab i see the update loading bar. But after it finish nothing shows in the feed and none of the manga got updated. I double checked on some of my favorited manga and there should be new chapter but somehow it's not get updated

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Feed Tab
2. Update
3. Update Loading Finish
4. Nothing Got Updated

I have the same bug on a POCO X4 Pro. All types of MIUI/Battery optimization disabled.

So is it because device issue ? i also already disable battery optimization

@Koitharu I am using Comick, Mangasee and MangaFire. This is the log: It doesn't give update notifications for any of these sources.

Ok so seems like feed only shows manga/manwha from specific exstension. For me i used mangadex, comick, bato.to and webtoonXYZ. When i do the update it's only shows manwha from webtoonXYZ and none from the other

If you mean the log only shows entries for sources that are supported by it: I think that is highly unlikely. I have manga from lots of different sources (TooMics.de/en, MangaOwl.to, MangaGg,OmegaScans, MangaKomi, etc. ~ including mangadex, comick & bato.to) and they all show up in the log.

Did this happen with previous versions as well? Because for me, v. 7.5.1 was working fine. But I'm having issues with v. 7.5.2 as well (quite ironic since it's supposed to fix bugs I never encountered in the previous version).

After I updated to v. 7.5.2, many functions randomly stopped working when there was no network connection:

• Setting or removing bookmarks for locally saved manga
• Opening locally saved manga (reader)
• Opening locally saved manga (overview)
• Opening the Local storage section
• Accessing Favourites and some other places

Kotatsu just kept loading with nothing happening. With bookmarks the UI just didn't respond.

I was able to fix all the issues with the following method:

1. Close Kotatsu normally.
2. Open App Info, a) Force stop, b) Clear cache
3. Open App Manager, search Kotatsu & open it.
4. Open three dot menu and:
   • Set Net policy to none.
   • Disable battery optimization (if not already done ~ probably not related to this issue).
   • Optimizing the Application (DEX Optimization): No filter, Consider profile data option checked -» Run.

Here is a small Guide on how to setup App Manager: https://share.note.sx/0f1u79i1 DEX Optimization happens in Background. So better wait a minute to make sure it is finished.

Reopen Kotatsu.

PS: Force stop -» Clear cache -» Reinstall didn't solve anything in my case. (Tried two times ~ incl. DEX Optimization before)
