Describe your suggested feature

Please add an option to add all the manga/manhwa from Anilist to kotatsu. I have a ton of managa saved in Anilist, it would be nice to have an option to add all those manga to kotatsu like during the initial setup or as an option in the settings menu... The manga can be automatically assigned to a source (can select a favorable source) which can later be migrated via the user...

We already have the tracking feature, it would be great if we could also add our collection from Anilist

filling the favorites from the one-way scrobbler is not possible

Is it possible to scrape the names of the manga in our Anilist profile and add them to Kotatsu?

We can get a list of names and from that we can manually those ones to the favorite..... It would be much easier that searching each and every one by looking through the Anilist profile

anilist and similar services only list the pieces of media, Kotatsu mainly lists providers and their offerings.

The mapping between these two is not clear:

different providers provide the same piece of media. However, the provider makes a difference, e.g. because of quality.
names will change. Both the languages and exact translations used by the providers might be different from what's on anilist.

The mapping is quite personal and probably couldn't be automated nicely unless quite a lot of effort is put into this. I don't think that effort is worth it (but who knows, someone else might disagree and put in that effort)

Would've made it real easy to import our collection from Anilist or other sources....

absolutely, yeah. Ultimately this entire project is done by individuals in their free time. Becoming one of those is always an option ;)
