Ended up using 'noclip' to get through the door.
I'll check to make sure that physical movement made during a cutscene isn't added to the player position when a cutscene is completed.
Even without any physical movement made during the cutscene Koz, it seems to start you right from where the door is initially triggered (in our case, right outside of it) even though Doomguy clearly walks about 20 feet into the room.
Title pretty much sums it up :) Couldn't find this as a bug for the official version, thought maybe someone could shed some light.
