This is one of those things that gets a little confusing because of all the options. You can choose to have the teleport beam originate from the weapon hand or from the flashlight. I can re check the defaults I thought it was supposed to be originating from the weapon/weapon hand. In the interim you can use the menus to configure this how you like.
I have beam set to emit from flashlight hand. What I am saying by default the hand emitting the beam should automatically have button assigned.
With the controls be completely reconfigurable, it's simpler to just have the player manually config the controls the way they want. If the button on the flashlight was already assigned to a different action, I didn't want to overwrite it without the player knowing. I don't think I'm going to change this behavior - in the future I do want to include a selection of pre-defined control schemes the player can scroll thru to make control setup easier. If anyone else has thoughts about this, post them here and I'll review my thinking.
Basically if user presses button to initiate teleport on the right Touch controller, user expects to see beam coming off the same "hand". Right now pressing button on the right Touch shows beam on the left.
The easiest solution is to move teleport button to the left Touch by default.
