"create another shortcut to Doom3BFGVR.exe, and in the properties->shortcut->target field add "+set vr_APISelect 2" and then launch the shortcut. This forces the game to bypass the oculus initialization entirely and only use the OpenVR api. Let me know what happens!" -KozGit
thanks, I will try that. I was wondering if this mod, when using openvr, switch to rotational tracking as well when it loses positional tracking. It does that with the oculus initialization which pretty much makes the dk2 able to do a bit of roomscale. In steamvr this doesn't work, when the camera loses you, it doesn't switch to rotational tracking only, you just get a grey screen.
I have an oculus dk2 and razer hydra setup, I cannot make the razer hydra work, but they do work in steam vr, is there anyway I force openvr instead of oculus so the game uses steamvr instead of oculus
