The game is suddenly in Japanese? #222

After installing the mod, all text and speech are in Japanese! I can no longer change it with language_setup.exe (Bought the game on gog.com)

GOG changed some of the default files, and the mod installer didn't know exactly what to do.

Try this: Install the full GOG game again to make sure all files are there ( the old installer probably deleted all of the language files except japanese)

Download the .zip version of the mod from this link

Extract the mod into your doom 3 bfg install directory and see what happens.

I did that and ... OMG, now it's in French. That is just so wrong. Oh well, it's slightly more readable than Japanese!

What language is the audio in?

Go to the ( doom 3 bfg install directory ) / base / strings / and delete everything except english.lang ( or whatever language you actually want. )

Perfection! Deleting the unwanted languages did the trick. Fixed the audio too. Thanks for helping me out!
