Colored Emoji Support #230

Hello, are color emoji currently supported?

From cairo changelog for version 1.15.8 ( https://cairographics.org/news/cairo-1.15.8/ ) it seems there is support for "colored emoji glyphs, stored as PNG images in OpenType fonts".

I tried to convert an SVG containing an emoji to PDF with font with embed PNG taken from here but the emoji is rendered without colors.

Did you manage to rasterize colored emoji? which font did you use?

Font and SVG file attached. test.svg.zip PhantomOpenEmoji.ttf.zip

Software versions: cairosvg 2.2.1 libcairo2-dev 1.16.0

Command: cairosvg -f pdf -o test.pdf test.svg

It doesn't work for me with Noto :cry:. I don't know why it doesn't work.

Same issue here. Tried multiple color emoji fonts, but they always result in black and white versions
