trying to run this on iphone 8 on ios 16.3.1 but when i press start it just reboots. installed from trollstore

@jthoward64 When I press on "start" it's rebooting my phone, I tried a lot of times and it always does that. The only moment I got hope is by waiting like 5-10 minutes after the reboot and making sure I had wifi on, to end with the app crashing, closing then when I reopen it, it's rebooting my phone. Mind me asking how do I delete this folder and where is it located? Is it using filza?

Yeah I had the same issue, and yeah you can get to it from Filza. It's something like /private/preboot/.../jb-xxxx and /var/jb that you need to delete. Then force quit notajailbreak and reopen it from TrollStore and try the button

I can’t delete it?

Inside preboot there should be a folder with a bunch of numbers and letter, the jb folder is in there. If that doesn't work maybe make a new issue as that seems like a different problem.

Florian-Martinez commented 6 months ago

Well I looked in the weird folder named with numbers and letters and there's no folder starting by "jb" so... I tried by opening the tool through Trollstore, rebooted my phone.

I can’t find it either

jthoward64 commented 6 months ago

Yeah I'd make a new issue, if you never managed to get the Jailbreak to run previously then you will not have a jb folder and my advice is irrelevant sorry

Yo does this exploit works for 16.7 version a8-a11?

KpwnZ commented 6 months ago

New version is available.

Florian-Martinez commented 6 months ago

@KpwnZ Still the same issue in my case with the latest update, I tried 5 times already.

That should be related to our new exploitation method. Crash log?

iPhone 14,4 is not arm64 device.

Florian-Martinez commented 6 months ago

Is it arm64e? Do you plan to support it any sooner? Edit: Nvm, https://github.com/KpwnZ/Def1nit3lyN0tAJa1lbr3akTool/issues/16.

Hope it will be supported soon!
