Hi all,

I am a semi-technical user and could not figure out how to successfully install NppOpenAI. I couldnt find it in the official "Plugins Admin" and I was not able to find documentation on what steps to follow to make it work in my Notpad++ instance.

If someone pointed me towards the right direction, that would be amazing! If there is no documentation so far, I will make one and contribute it to the project here.

Hi!

I've downloaded the latest Notepad++ v8.5.2 (portable), and the NppOpenAI plugin seems available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions (Plugins » Plugins Admin… » Available tab » Search: NppOpenAI).

It's worth checking, if the plugin isn't installed, and exists under the Updates or Installed tab. Interesting that in the Plugin List v1.6.1 is the NppOpenAI v0.1.5 available only. I hope, in the Plugin List 1.7.1 will be visible the latest NppOpenAI v0.3.0.1.

Manual update instruction are available in the #20 issue; the installation should work in the same way as described here (except overwriting the old files). Please note, that the latest versions of the plugin are the following:

Please consider adding the installation instructions to the readme because the version in the NP++ plugins manager is only 0.3.01 and it not the latest release. There should be clear instructions on how to install the latest version.
