Editra locks Linux #760

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open any doc in Editra like HTML file
2.Have that document saved by a different program while Editra has it open too.
3.Come back to editra and Linux Mint13 64-bits locks. Computers needs to be 
rebooted.

What is the expected output?
A dialog box indicating that the file was changed by another app.

What do you see instead?
Nothing. It locks. The computer needs to be rebooted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.01
Linux2,python 2.7.3 wxGTK 2.8.12.1, unicode, gtk2, wx-assertions-off, 
SWIG-1.3.29

What method of install was your version installed with (Binary/Source)?
Source

If from source: What version of python and wxPython are you using?
wxGTK 2.8.12.1
