@extend rewrite followup #206

Couple more minor concerns that I'm willing to leave to 1.3:

[x] are there easily-borrowed Ruby tests for all this?
[x] deal with combinators more correctly (and more gracefully; currently explodes)
[x] deal with unknown @-rules in the ancestry

Okay, this is all... passable. We have the Ruby @extend tests and I'm gonna make them gradually less faily.

I didn't actually fix the handling of @-rules, because Ruby doesn't handle them correctly either, but there's a deprecation notice, and I'm waiting for that to go away so I can see what they think is correct.
