Implement Heartbeat messages between neighboring nodes #84

I implemented the heartbeat messages and it was part of our final prototype. The following picture is the visualization of the pipeline we deployed and is not working currently, the red color of the nodes and channels made possible due to the heartbeat messages between neighboring nodes.

@khudemann also made changes to the pipeline and the final prototype is comprised of all these changes.
