Category configuration doesn't follow settings #8018

Describe the bug category content does not follow behavior in category config in backend. there are LOTS of issues...

  1. there is zero documentation on how to use "topic template"
  2. there is a hidden H1 that cannot be changed nor used
  3. only obscure bbcode seems to work for styling in the input boxes yet there is no bbcode editor for the uninformed to use.
  4. css class is not applied.
  5. ZERO documentation that explains how to use the category configuration that is current.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: go to welcome mat category and attempt to edit it.

Expected behavior easily editable with clear instructions

Actual result extremely hard to edit and parts of it don't even function.

Some answers to your points :

  1. Actually, we don't have a doc page for the topic template in your doc https://www.kunena.org/docs/
  2. The H1 that you are talking is from alert defined by the Joomla! template
  3. There is no hints in the description to indicate that you can use bbcode tags, but it's the same bccode tags than can you use when edit in frontend
  4. The hint should be improved too here, but can-you make please a screenshot when you edit a category to see how you make it ?
  5. I don't understand this point

Aside from the topic area, The REAL issue is there is no editor for them to apply any styling whatsoever and normal html is not allowed. Good job with the docs.
