It looks like you are using an external storage space. It is possible that the system invalidates its location. Try copying the file to other locations to identify the behavior of your system.
it doesnt matter where I copy the KDBX nor if I create the KBX through KeePassDX, externalsstorage is still there. (it's obviously not external / SD storage) Is it something with Pixels native filemanager?
I can't reproduce the problem, perhaps you have changed the file manager permissions.

I can no longer reproduce the problem in version 3.5.1?
After successfully opening the kdbx from a local folder, using password +yubikey, items can't be changed nor crested.
To get it working again one has to remove the "last database" and re-add it. I initially thought it was a glitch with the cloud-provider but having the same issue storing the file locally.
Does KeePassDX work with a cached copy or something?
