10 months ago I'll give it a shot. Let you know if it works. Right now my work around has been opening it in split screen on the tablet.

9 months ago Wait. I may have figured it out.
On this device, Samsung auto-moved it into the deep sleeping apps. I just noticed it when I went to force the app close and clear the cache. It was indicated at the bottom of the main info screen.
I'll move it out of the Sleeping apps and I'll play with it for a few days. If that's the fix, I'll ask you to close this.
Oddly my other Samsung didn't touch it. May be a fix for others.

9 months ago It was Battery Optimization.
KeypassDX was listed twice so I turned both of them off. Fixed.
The license key works fine in Deep Sleeping mode so that was never the issue.
I don't know what toggled the Battery Optimization on as I've used this for years. I've checked all my optimization apps but none touch this setting. Just in case, I've whitelisted it on all of them.
Anyway, you can close this. I hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.

Ok, second question/issue.
I'm running this both on my tablet and phone. Both are Android 12, Arm 7. Both use the same version and the settings, all the way through battery optimization are identical. Even default browsers are identical.
If a site asks me for a password and I switch over to KeypassDX, open the vault, open the entry or not, then switch back to the browser, my tablet will have relocked the vault when I return to KeypassDX. The phone will still have the vault open.
Again, checked through the issues and discussions and found nothing quite the same. I found an entry in the wiki and followed the directions and it made no difference even when I upped the timeout to an hour.
I don't use the Magikeyboard.
This didn't start until several upgrades ago but I can't determine which one. Both the devices are using 4.05.
One is a Samsung Tab A and the other is a Samsung Note 10+.
