Lightweight vault and password manager for Android, KeePassDX allows editing encrypted data in a single file in KeePass format and fill in the forms in a secure way.
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to provide some feedback regarding the username input functionality in KeePassDX. While using the application, I noticed a discrepancy in the behavior of the Android/Gboard keyboard when entering usernames compared to other platforms such as web pages.
Specifically, when attempting to enter a username, the keyboard layout remains static and does not adapt to the username input field. For instance, in webpages, symbols like '@' appear instead of ',' when typing. Additionally, holding down the '.' key does not display additional punctuation symbols; instead, it suggests domain extensions such as '.com', '.es', and '.org'.
It would be cool for KeePassDX to change this behaviour, because lots of usernames are emails.
Thank you for considering this feedback. I appreciate your attention to enhancing the usability of KeePassDX.
