Sozu Rogberry window surpassing 8 hours #17

Steps to reproduce the issue: Just pop him Any additional information: Today, 3 members of our LS waited for 9 hours+ for Sozu Rogberry to pop afer killing his only placeholder every 18 minutes (Tonberry Pursuer). There were other players from another linkshell there who can testify this. There were no server interruptions nor crashes in those hours.

The wiki states its a lottery spawn with a window range of 1 to 8 hours.

It’s a true lottery spawn so it can take longer than 8 hours. Theoretically could be infinite. That time posted is approximate.

This is working as intended. The original 'fix' that Icon/NL did to force make him spawn after a certain amount of time was removed and put back to a true lottery spawn.

why was icon's fix removed?

Because it was not retail/era like and it was broken causing Sozu to spawn immediately when its window was opened.

so becouse icon's "fix" wasnt really a fix, i can get that, but that doesnt change the fact icon wanted him that way for a reason (and I mean spawning at the 8 hour mark, not at the 1 hour)

Sorry for double comment, but i've had some players report that sozu's window is in fact higher than 1 hour. In fact, some have even told me that his window is at least 8 hours For the sake of being completely transparent, can sozu in fact spawn at the 1 hour mark after death?

I cannot give specific info on pops/drop rates/etc. out of request of Icon and NL. 1 hour after death is not when his ability to spawn starts though.

No problem, I understand that. Thats not really what I was asking for, I was just asking if it could pop after one hour of it being dead, since in 2004 it could and right now it doesnt seem to be the case.
