i am using the summary metrics in tandem with the mutect2 output, so my assumption is that the normal does not have any variants in the output...not 100% sure if this is the case. i know in other callers it is not, but I've haven't thoroughly investigated what the mutect2 output is. if there variants, then i'll have to pull the detail metrics and grab the sample, thankfully since this is/will be an actual pipeline now, i can have already built-in mechanisms to do the mapping necessary to grab the correct id and its associated metrics in the output
