Have you tried the portable version? If that fails to download as well, then it is most likely an antivirus issue. If you still have issues, let me know what antivirus you are using so I can make a case to them to allow the program.
Hi Kurtis,
Thanks for the reply. I can’t even download the portable version, I get a “Failed – Download Error”. We use Cisco Secure Endpoint.
My case got escalated, waiting for them to call back. If I find out anything I will let you know.
Thanks for making this, it’s an awesome tool, saves me a ton of time.
Thanks,
Mike

If you're interested, you could try this unreleased beta version. Simple IP Config 2.9.8-b1.exe.zip
After a quick Google, I couldn't find an obvious way to report false positives. I will try reaching out to Cisco to see if we have any options once I make the next release.
Our network administration team made an exception in Cisco Secure Endpoint (formerly Cisco AMP) and it works now. Thanks for the help, this is a great tool.
Hey Kurtis,
Been using you app for a while now and love it. The new versions are being blocked by my company's antivirus (both the installer and the portable versions after v2.9.1 except v2.9.6.1 portable). I have FortiClient antivirus software installed on my PC.
For anyone interested, I am currently in the process of moving to an entirely new code base. So there should not be any more antivirus false positives in future versions.
I got a new computer and can't install it. It seems that the file download gets cancelled. The uninstaller is there, but not the program. Is this an antivirus or firewall issue on my end? My IT dept thought that there was something missing in the download?
