An error pops up saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item." Error

From what I can tell, Riot Games probably made some changes to the way the executable RiotClient.exe works and apparently we can not execute it directly anymore,

I am trying to figure something out,

In the meantime, try to change your Language directly on the client, I'm not sure if that's completely working yet but it seems that there's an option, you can open the Login Client (the one before the game client) and go onto the Avatar -> Settings -> League Of Legends -> Game Text Language
