Oh yeah I did mean to use this repo to generate that. Completely forgot 😅
Yes, I compile all the data manually. I use a combination of this Swift file I also maintain and poring through the Apple Xcode and Swift.org documentation. The weird inconsistencies can be fascinating, BTW; they're why this can never be generated/extracted/scraped: some facts are just buried in the English words of the Xcode documentation, like exactly which OS release dropped support for which Xcode release.
Aw cool I might need that segment! Totally gonna save that for later; thanks 😄 Sorry if I disappointed you, though. I'll bump this repo up in my priority list; I still wanna fill it out.
I saw your SO post with fantastic charts of Swift and OS support for the various Xcode versions over the years (thanks for that BTW 🙇🏻♂️) and wanted to reach out. Did you compile all this data manually? Seeing this repo made me wonder if you used a script to extract this data.
I made a segment for Powerline which displays the currently selected Xcode version and am looking into building a tool that makes discovering this sort of version info easy to retrieve.
