probably due to the way the game handles rounding numbers, characters take 0 dmg after getting/losing the strenght effect.
the bug seems to happen at a certain amount of HP, but doesn't happen at any HP value, it seems like only some HP numbers trigger this bug.

could be solved thru LUA scripts
this issue needs more investigation
