Thanks for your help; would love to have this work for my Steam PC. I'll be
glad to donate if I can get this sorted out.

Hey, this guy above here is having the exact issue that im having, though i
cant switch back and forth between mouse mode and not, i have to change it in
the config. also ive been trying to get xpadder to work with this also.
it detects vjoy, everything else i dont think connects. its a shame, if i can
get xpadder to pick up all the buttons the sticks and and whatnot this will be
awesome. i know its prolly something simple. idk im kinda stumped about it.

Tried everything, just couldn't get it to work in non-mouse mode. I'll wait
for a response.

I have a problem very like this. I use Windows 8.1 64-bit. But i cannot get my
controller to give any input. The chatpad and mouse mode works fine, but when i
try to calibrate the controller, i shows no input. When i try to use xpadder,
it constantly gets input a number of buttons, even if the controller is off.
And xpadder will not react on any button presses.

^ Exact Same issue; also using Win8.1 64-bit.

Same boat here, win 8.1 amd64. Controller worked great before the driver
installation. Afterward, the Chatpad functions wonderfully, and the mouse mode
works too. But the controller mode has no input.

Found the reason for the bug. Not following the instructions. I had vjoy 2.0.5
installed. It HAS to be 2.0.2, at least in my case.

Would not have considered using an older rev. I'll give it another try this
week. Thanks for the info.

Using vJoy 2.0.2 I am now getting input! This seems to be the last issue and
not sure how to resolve it ... when calibrating the new vJoy device, the
physical buttons are mapping to the wrong virtual button. I recreated the vJoy
device as instructed and still have the same issue. The right analog gets
mapped to Z Axis and Z Rotation and the L/R triggers get mapped to buttons 7
and 8. Suggestions on how to fix this? I'm so close!

Can confirm! Specifically the vjoy 2.0.2 011112 driver, and not the 2.0.2
030114 driver. Works now! Had to reboot into "test mode" though to work.
XPadder isn't detecting all the buttons though, and can't see the left stick at
all. Gonna try fiddling with vjoy options.

Funny, 030114 worked just fine for me (supposing that's not the issue for my
mis-mapped keys). Is there a way to define which key matches which key/axis in
the vJoy device vs just being randomly assigned? I tried UJR but it griped
about me using an older version of vJoy and promptly quit on me.

Not detecting any of my sticks, it seems. Nor the "Start" button.

The 360 chatpad software has to be running, be sure of that.

Yep, it's running. I can't actually connect the controller at all without it
now, it seems.

The only key that didn't show for me I think was the start key as well.

I think it's going to come down to using a key remapper tool like UJR or
similar to change which vJoy button/axis is represented by which physical
button/trigger/stick.

4And you are not in mouse mode when you calibrate?
Original comment by Laq...@gmail.com

Correct. I don't think you get any response from calibration when in mouse mode.

Has anyone here gotten it fully functioning yet, with both sticks, the chatpad,
and all buttons working? If so, would you be up for posting screenshots of the
settings in both vjoy and the Chatpad app? I'd like to compare, maybe I'm
missing something here.

Nope. Messed around with this today but still not much luck
(http://www.windowscentral.com/guide-use-xbox-one-controller-pc). Something
wrong with the vJoy device assigning the controller inputs to the wrong axes.
Not sure how to correct that. I did note if you make the controller 13 button
that you get start & guide buttons to work.

Tried building the controller all sorts of ways and even compared it to a wired
controller I have connected. Simply can't get the triggers to work on Z-axis
and right analog on X/Y Rotation. How do you fix this? Been looking here:

I couldn't figure anything out either. In the meantime I guess I'm back to
using my Nyko iType 2 controller until this can be worked out.

030114.

I'm using the same version of vJoy but have not had success with the triggers
and right analog stick mapping to the correct axes. That's the only part I am
stuck on. Using a standard xbox 360 wireless controller.

so, with some fiddling today, after reading your guyses success i managed to
get it to put out some input. though xpadder gets both my sticks backwards, and
it says theyre being pulled constantly
and the triggers dont wirk unless you put 'triggers as buttons' on the x360
chatpad program. and even then it replaces the start and back button when you
do that. but other then that the dpad works and the other buttons,
i think i need to screw with vjoy some more

scratch that, i configured my controller better, ow i got my sticks and
triggers working, seriously you gotta use the control panel way to configure
the controller, its how i got shit working better. but now all i have is my x
rotation is going nuts or some shit, basically my right stick is always
pointing down.... i cant make it center, im getting closer though

How did you get your triggers to work? Mine still function as buttons, I think
7 and 8. Can you elaborate? Thanks.

i figured it out! using 2.0.2 in vJoy Config setup 2 POVs instead 1 like the
directions say!
Works like a charm for me now in xpad. Everything, including the XBox button is
mappable if you set it to 13 buttons.
