Error with tachograph.lua and Xiring Teo reader under Windows 7 pro #63

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago

Under Windows 7 Pro SP1 PC (64 bits), test on 4 different PCs :

1. Launch tachograph.lua script (submenu of Analyzer button) under cardpeek
v0.8.4-win32

2. Choose Export signed or unsigned data file

3. After few seconds, the script stops (see log attached).

SC reader model : Xiring TeO
Cards tested : "carte de conducteur" from Chronoservices (french tachograph for
trucks)

I presume it works fine under linux ;-)

Hi, thanks for the report. It should work on Windows 7: it was tested on that
platform. The error you describe seems to be related to a problem with the
external ICONV library used by cardpeek: the library that translates from one
character set to another.
I will make a correction so that at least the program does not crash in case
this problem happens...
