drop --split ?

--split is:

• not fully supported yet because you cannot use split recordings in ChildProject's routines (it assumes a 1:1 mapping between raw and converted files)
• apparently not as critical since ELAN seems to support longer audio recordings now ?

Is this feature still really useful ? If not, I'd vote for dropping it

if ELAN supports longer files, terrific. That was the main motivation.

Also, these "random" splits bring complexity and confusion for later steps, so indeed, if we can do without, we should phase them out.
