Sign on malfunction #3745

Dashboard flashes on then off. Site is not usable. I tried Firefox and Opera with the same result. This is on a linux mint system. I can log in and look at my account. Nothing else. This project is exactly the sort I'm looking for and I'm excited about it. For now, what to do?
