Megan Katz, John C Fremont Branch, Minecraft, [4/6, 4/7, 4/13, 4/14], Malakai Unland

Needs more control of the room. Kids interrupted. [He needs more classroom management skills]

Kids had fun.

Hygiene issue: smelly. Took his shoes off

She didn’t learn.

They learned some coding.

It wasn’t an introduction to coding, it was telling them to copy code. Lot of spelling issues. Couldn’t imagine them going home and recreating it.

He wrote something she wasn’t sure what to do with it.

She feels like more of a newbie than the kids. The kids have gameplay experience. She was talking to Malakai about it. There wasn’t a spare laptop for her. She would have scheduled 14 kids if she’d known.

Had not taken Minecraft trainings. She felt like she couldn’t help. [Needs to be a prerequisite].

Projector issues: tried to hook into their projector, didn’t work.

Young adult and juvenile can be very separate. She can ask the young adult librarian for a volunteer if possible.

[Possibly culminate with showing to the parents]
