I succesfully import .tif into a new Project, then go to 2DXtal, perform an "Init Program" and "Init Files and Parameters". Latter ends with a segmentation fault in label.h. Logs applied.
I also tried to use 2dx 3.5.0 software instead of focus, but encountered the same problem.
Update: installing from source also doesn't solve it. Tried two different workstations.
Issue closed.
As a test workstations i used some legacy hardware PCs. It seems that they had not enough RAM (or video memory, not sure).
Now installed using 8 GB RAM and nVidia gtx 1050, it works fine.
Tested on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, found on focus 1.0.0, 1.1.0 installed from .deb package. Sample ML0010100333.tif (or any of the http://www.2dx.unibas.ch/download/test-data)
