FOCUS aparently cannot import MRC files that are symbolic links to actual MRC files elsewhere.
FOCUS needs an option to either get the metadata (pixel size) from the MRC header, or from the manually defined values.
EPU writes out an XML file with metadata for each movie. FOCUS should be able to read that.
The option to manually provide the pixel size is already implemented (see commit 550080a).

FOCUS should be able to import MRC files from several folders, because EPU creates one such folder for all movies recorded from a grid square.
FOCUS doesn't correctly compute the frame numbers and total frame dose, when working with a gain-corrected movie (Option 2).
