When I do Merge once in 2dx-merge, I always got a error message after 2dx merge finished:

Spacegroup information obtained from library file: Logical Name: SYMINFO Filename: /Applications/ccp4-6.2.0/lib/data/syminfo.lib

2dx_merge finished.

Does this affect final results? I'm using newest version of 2dx under OSX10.9

Is that maybe related to #79??

scherers commented 10 years ago

Following Pu's answer it only effects 3D merging

"It is ok for 2d merge, but for 3d merge, error messge appears."

News from Pu:

Hi Sebastian,

I'm using 2dx 3.4.2 under mac osx 10.9. The data I'm processing are from negative stained EM images.

One of colleges told me that new version of 3d merge of 2dx only works for cryo data. Is it true?

Best regards

Hi Sebastian,

We found the reason which caused error message in 3d merge. It is caused by symmetry assignment. Sorry to distract you.

Best regards
