James I just wrote a big response but I just realized, I have a mistake in the README!

The readme tells you to delete COMPDIRS/MCTDH.SRC link and this is not the intent. This is what has gone wrong. I did this too quickly.

Readme is now corrected, with more info for mac. H2PHOTO example directory is suggested.
