Issue is NOW in Review!!!

On the next Team Meeting, I will ask for a second opinion upon my work. My work will be posted in the following comment.

Background

By integrating electronic components into origami, parents will gain the opportunity to promote/integrate STEM for their children despite their varying interests. Some parents find difficulty in aiding their children’s curiosity amongst STEM subjects due to their unfamiliarity. Similarly, parents also encounter difficulty in reinforcing their children’s education in subjects that revolve around STEM due to their child’s enjoyment in other areas. Knowing this, I was inspired to develop a product that incorporated STEM by integrating a familiar art aspect, origami. Whether the child already has an interest in STEM or not, origami provides a fun approach to exercising creativity through art with the added benefit of animating their creations. The incorporation of electronic components allows for the child’s creations to be “brought to life” through movement, light effects, and/or sound.

In the event that the child’s interest in STEM grows, they will also have access to a graphic-user interface (GUI) to customize the animation of their creations.
