6 years ago checkboxes are now implemented in the Database Table... but not yet the functionality. Need to check the backends in brightway to see if there is already functionality for restricting write access...
Certain databases, like ecoinvent should be read-only, or in other words should be protected so the user cannot accidentally mess them up. The Activity Browser currently already prevents activities from being deleted when other activities still use them, but, what is not prevented, e.g. is that exchanges can be added to activities by dragging and dropping...
