So, since a few days I am doing another run-through. This time I wanted a mage-only or mage-centric group, so other than Dusk, the other members all have a mage class (Tyris is mage,fighter, Edwin pure mage etc...).
I did not install Tactics Remix originally for the prior run through.
For this run through, though, I did install the new tactics remix.
A few hours ago I killed Kangaxx with Dusk; oddly enough his weapon seems to be able to destroy undead easily.
When Kangaxx died, he only had two plain and cheap necklaces, and the Ring of Kangaxx. Nothing else.
I killed him in his demlich form. I do not recall if he dropped a dust prior to that, but when I killed the demilich
form, no dust was available.
In an earlier play through, Kangaxx had some more items I believe, though perhaps from another mod. No idea
why he only had basically one item now (ring) and nothing else.
I report this here just in the event others run into this too; it may have nothing to do with tactics remix, but I am
increasingly having issues with tactics remix and other mods, to the point where I think I need to stop installing
tactics remix altogether. First I had issues with tactics remix due to it changing some key areas, now I believe also
some items. Tactics remix can be fun for players who want a challenge, but I feel it is one of the most misbehaving
mods in general, and it may not be worth the hassle.
So, just in this case, I think I am able to gather enough lich dust anyway from other liches, but I wanted to mention
it here as well. I will close this issue as it is only meant as information.
