This is a known issue with that release. There was a mistake where the settings page set a ComplexButton's Lit state instead of the SideText state. It's been fixed in the current master (commit d214f26321e0df9df013b7668879e90cffa22720), but I never made a release with the change. (Ran into too many issues with Windows 10's window managing.)

In the short term, you can fix it by editing the registry key:

HKCU\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\LCARS x32\CommandTimeoutEnabled

The value of that key will currently be "False". Set it to "True" and you should be able to open settings again. Unfortunately, disabling the voice commands timeout will trigger the bug again. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help.

I'll see if I can get a release out with the fix in a few days. I'll have to pull out a Windows computer to compile it, and I need to make sure that it's actually stable enough to use. I'll close this issue when that is done.

Hi, I'm using Windows 10 and got same issue with settings open tab. I don't have the registrey key that you mention, i tried to create it but the issue's always here. Maybe I must mention that I'm french and there is no voice commands because MS Speech seems doesnt work properly (I imagine with french language) Capture
