Clean up mini plots #14

Revamp the plots to display a filled area instead of a density line. In the foreground, we could try to display a line showing the density of the selected subset.

This is now fixed. However, the mini plots are still quite messy. Can we fix this or should we leave it in its current state? Please review and fix and/or close as appropriate.
