Allow searching of multiple databases at once in Sinopia Search #1544

Currently, Sinopia Search only allows you to search one database at a time. For example, you can only search SHARE-VDE Stanford at one time, not all the SHARE-VDE databases, or SHARE-VDE and Sinopia. It would be nice if we could CTRL-click on the choices to pick multiple databases.

Marking this a "future" item because: --searching all SHARE-VDE databases is coming in this work cycle (see LD4P/sinopia#256) --picking a set of SHARE-VDE datasets to search is lower priority for this work cycle, since you will be able to search all of them --searching Sinopia data plus external data (SHARE-VDE or other QA-delivered source) is out of scope for this work cycle because of a number of questions need to be worked out first including: search engine used for Sinopia is different from QA, so a user's search term might be handled differently among the sources; need UX design for selecting which sources to search; need UX design for displaying results from multiple sources; if results are displayed in one consolidated list, how are they sorted?
