Example simulation was outdated and needed to be updated and the deprecated example files were still in codebase

What was changed

Removed old example files
Updated example simulation files
Bug fix sensors

Intended Purpose

Clean up codebase

Testing Completed

Unit tests all passed: results.txt

The example simulation runs.
